Lindenfels was the name given to the old General Managers' residence located in the old Number 1 Works at Port Kembla.

The grand old house has been recently refurbished to act as a meeting and conference space. It was also the venue for BlueScope's recent community event - recognising key recipients of BlueScopeWIN Community Partners funding for 2018.

It was also a chance to acknowledge 90 Years of iron and steel making at Port Kembla, and made extra-special with members of the Hoskins family in attendance. Charles Hoskins was the founder and visionary behind the location of the steel industry at Port kembla. His sons, Cecil and Sidney became the inaugural joint Managing Directors of the Company.
