BlueScope has received the 10 year sustainability achievement award in the New South Wales government 2016 Green Globe awards.

The judges agreed that BlueScope has shown real and sustained leadership in reducing and preventing pollution over a ten year period, and noted the real diversity of approaches and initiatives. According to the judges, “It was obvious that BlueScope has committed to consistently improving their performance and are to be commended for development and provision of new products, focussing on use of water, materials and other resources, all underpinned by a strong social focus on topics including health and safety, community and learning.”
